Precare

• No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.
• Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
• Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
• No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels one week before.
• Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to your procedure.
• No Botox around the brow area 2 weeks prior.
• Do not drink coffee or any caffeine on the day of your appointment.
• Please note: you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Eyebrow care

Please follow the instructions below to ensure proper healing from the procedure:

• You may splash the brow area with water 5 hours after the procedure. Do not rub the brows with soap or cleanser — pat dry with a clean towel or tissue.
• No make-up application on the brows until the scabbing peels off completely.
• No sun tanning, swimming or excessive sweating.
• No soap, moisturiser, makeup, creams or sunscreen on the brow area.
• Do not rub or pick at the dry, flaky skin/scab.
• Make sure you wash your face without rubbing your eyebrows to prevent infection. A minor splash of water is allowed, but prolonged exposure to water is not. Do not rub the brows to dry them — gently pat dry.

What you will notice in the next 7–⁠10 days

• Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days. To relieve the swelling, you can ice the area with soft gel ice packs.
• A slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal.
• The microstrokes will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick. As the skin heals, the scabs will fall off in random pieces throughout the brow and might look patchy throughout the week.
• Flaking and crusting of the skin may occur.
• The colour will fade approximately 30–⁠50% when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal — do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected. The colour will become darker 1–⁠2 weeks after all the scabs fall off.
• A follow-up touch-up is usually necessary and can be completed any time after 4 weeks from the initial appointment.

Eyeliner care

Healing

• Healing takes about 7–⁠10 days.
• The colour becomes much softer and fades 30–⁠50% lighter.
• Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days.
• A slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal.
• The colour will fade approximately 30–⁠50% when the scab peels off. This is completely normal — do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected.
• To achieve the perfect eyeliner, we need to see how your skin accepts the initial application — a touch-up appointment is where we perfect the shape and colour.
• No eye make-up is allowed until the scabbing is completely peeled off. Avoid cleansing products around the eyes.
• Water contact is allowed 5 hours after the procedure.

Scabbing

• The eyeliner will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick. As the skin heals, the scabs will fall off in random pieces throughout the eyeline and might look patchy.
• Flaking and crusting on the eyes may occur.
• Avoid pulling off the scabs that are dried out on the lashes.
• When you try to pull off the scabs hanging on your lashes, ensure they are soft enough to slide off the lashes.

Swelling

• Swelling occurs up to 3 days, especially in the morning.
• Exercising the eyes can help reduce swelling and puffiness.
• Blinking your eyes often can help relieve swelling.

Lip care

Please follow the instructions below to ensure proper healing from the procedure:

• It is very important to remove the lymph fluid from the surface of the skin to avoid heavy scabbing. Before bed, if the lips still have some dry lymph, rinse with lukewarm water, gently removing the dry lymph, and pat dry.
• Only water-wash the lips for one week. Pat dry gently.
• Do not rub or pick at the dry, flaky skin/scab.
• Avoid: water (aside from cleaning), makeup, tanning, swimming, excessive sweating, sauna, spicy food and kissing.
• Drink through a straw for one week.
• Do not let your lips dry out — continue to apply ointment throughout the day to moisturise your lips.

What you will notice in the next 7–⁠10 days

• Swelling and bruising is normal for the first few days. To relieve the swelling, you can ice the area with soft gel ice packs.
• A slight stinging sensation or soreness in the first few days is also normal.
• You will experience dry, flaky lips for the first 3–⁠5 days. Once the pigment flakes off, it will appear as though no pigment retained. The colour will gradually bloom to a soft shade 6–⁠8 weeks after all the flakes peel off.

Eyelash extensions care

Skin needling care

Critical care post treatment — please abide by the following to keep your skin safe through the healing process:

• Do not apply makeup for 12 hours post treatment (after 12 hours, use mineral makeup only).
• Use prescribed home care as instructed for the next 5–⁠7 days.
• Avoid active ingredients in your homecare products (Vitamin A, Vitamin C, AHA and BHA) for 5–⁠7 days post treatment.
• Avoid vigorous exercise, the gym, and excessive heat to the treated area — including saunas, steam baths, hot showers, and chlorinated or saltwater pools — for 48 hours.
• Do not pick at peeling skin — this may cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
• Do not prematurely expose skin to the sun, for the same reason.
• Avoid waxing, IPL, laser or depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment.
• Keep the skin well hydrated (prescribed moisturiser and lots of water) to support healing.
• Do not touch your face unless necessary — and only with clean hands, to avoid contamination.
• Change your pillowcase before bed on the day of your treatment to avoid bacterial infection.

What is the recovery time?

• First 24–⁠48 hours: the skin enters the inflammation stage and may feel sensitive and warm — most guests notice mild redness similar to light sunburn, sometimes with mild bruising or pinpoint bleeding. Makeup can cover this after 12 hours.
• Days 2–⁠7: the proliferation stage — skin can feel dry and tight as old cells are rapidly replaced by new ones. Nurture your skin for 5–⁠7 days.
• Day 7 onwards: the remodelling stage — cross-linked collagen continues strengthening the skin over time (with some evidence this stage lasts up to 2 years).
• Noticeable results appear within a week or two — smoother, more radiant skin that keeps developing over time.

How frequently can I have skin needling?

• Treatments can be repeated every 2–⁠4 weeks. Skin rejuvenation: 4–⁠6 treatments · acne scarring: minimum 6 · stretch marks: 4–⁠8.
